A BCA course is a three-year undergraduate program that prepares students for careers in software development, web technologies, database management, and IT services.Located in Jhajhra, Chakrata Road, Dehradun, Uttarakhand, Guru Nanak College offers a premier learning environment for aspiring IT professionals.
This three-year course offers an in-depth understanding of computer science, information technology, and various software applications. The curriculum is tailored to provide both theoretical knowledge and practical skills in programming languages, database management, software engineering, web development, and computer networks.
The BCA program covers a wide spectrum of topics including, but not limited to, fundamentals of computer systems, software development, programming languages (like C, C++, Java), web technologies, operating systems, and digital marketing. This course also introduces students to emerging areas in IT like mobile application development, cloud computing, and cyber security.
The BCA curriculum is designed in alignment with current IT industry standards, covering programming, full-stack development, databases, and modern technologies to make students job-ready.

The students who have passed 10+2 or had
given senior secondary examination with Maths/Biology/Agriculture from any recognized
board.
The minimum percentage required is 45% for GENERAL/OBC and 40% for ST/SC.
